We're committed to ways that help you land a job!

Include your profile in up to three categories. Your profile can be updated at any time. Just login, locate your profile and make changes.

*EFFECTIVE JAN. 1, 2009, NEW PROFILES MUST INCLUDE YOUR FULL NAME (FIRST & LAST). SUBMITTING NAME AS 'JOHN P.' WILL NOT BE APPROVED

*FEATURED JOB SEEKER STATUS WILL NOT BE APPROVED FOR VAGUE PROFILES. IF YOU WANT TO BE FEATURED, PLEASE PUT EFFORT INTO YOUR MINI PROFILE SO IT HAS VALUE FOR EMPLOYERS

Recommended third-person style for your profile (below is an example)
WorkCabin recommends you keep your profile short and limit personal information. The best profiles offer only a glimpse of your strengths and encourage employers to contact you to learn more.

Example using third-person writing style
As a former marketing specialist with ACME Ltd, John has a knack for developing campaigns that produce results. He has been freelancing as an event coordinator for the past seven years since leaving a full-time career to make room for family. Based in Edmonton, he also produces content and design for several corporate communications vehicles in the fields of ecology, conservation and marine studies. His volunteer work includes assisting several nationally recognized environmental organizations. In 2003, he received a provincial award for an advertising campaign that highlighted how homeowners can save money by adopting green energy initiatives.

If you are interested in learning more about John's qualifications, please contact him at xxxxxx@email.com

By posting your profile, you agree to the following conditions/rules:

NOTE: You must include content in your profile. Blank profiles will not be approved. Profiles that contain one or two sentences that basically say "I need a job will not be approved." Mini Profiles are intended for people who have a passion and skills to work green and state as much in their profiles.

  1. FREE profiles are for Canadians in Canada or Canadians living abroad. FEATURED PROFILES are available to Canadians or Canadians living abroad.
  2. If you are not serious about seeking a green career, but rather, more interested in simply getting any job and using this service to achieve that end, do not post on WorkCabin. Instead, please post on a general employment site other than WorkCabin. Our clients are serious about finding green-minded applicants only.
  3. Profiles are publicly viewable and crawlable by search engines, therefore, it is the obligation of persons submitting their profiles, as well as future updating of their profiles, to decide which contact information to include and how much personal information shall be featured in their profile. By posting your profile on WorkCabin, you assume all responsibility and risks.
  4. WorkCabin reserves the right to edit your profile.
  5. Because profiles are publicly viewable, WorkCabin strongly recommends that you utilize this service for the purpose of posting a brief profile about yourself, rather than a full resume. Use the suggested third-person writing style (see below), limit personal information, and use a disposable email address such as a yahoo or hotmail address. The best profiles are the ones which are short and offer only a glimpse of your strengths, and as a result, encourage prospective employers to contact you.
  6. WorkCabin reserves the right to deny any profile submission or profile revision that we believe is not relevant to our visitors or for any reason we see fit. WorkCabin also reserves the right to suspend any user or remove any profile that it believes is not relevant to this site or in keeping with terms and conditions.
  7. No hyperlinks
  8. No stacking keywords
  9. No abusive or inappropriate launguage (WorkCabin reserves the right to decide what constitutes inappropriate language)
  10. Profiles are for a six-month duration and will be deleted if not kept updated.
  11. Creating false identities is forbidden
  12. You assume all risks associated with posting your profile, dealing with employers, recruiters or other individuals with whom you come in contact through WorkCabin during interviews, person-to-person contact and/or employment. Under no circumstances, shall WorkCabin be liable for any damages whatsoever, including without limitation, lost data, loss of income, loss of profit, interruption of website service, punitive, indirect and consequential damages, resulting from use of WorkCabin.
