My Name is Liam and I am posting my resume to this site in hopes of finding my ideal green job. I began down the path as an electrician a little over 2 years ago and had been working in industrial service before the slowing economy saw my position cut. Having spare time I have been re-evaluating my future in the electrical world. My hope is to find a position in the green energy sector that will allow me to see the completion of my journeyman certificate and also give me a foothold in a new career that I can not only be proud of but will allow me to make the world a slightly better place. I am a mature and responsible worker that is very safety concious and I feel that I would be an asset to any company. I thank you for taking the time to read my resume. Objectives: I am a second year apprentice seeking stable employment to allow me to further my skill in the electrical field and complete my journeyman certificate. Experience: Electrical Apprentice TECN Electrical, Edmonton AB Nov 2008 – Current Job duties included troubleshooting, repair, and some fabrication Good exposure to temperature controllers, PLC's and Safety devices Strong understanding of electric motors both DC and AC Some practice with overhead services and splitter installations Some practice running conduit.
