Land & Resource Coordinator
$76,071.18 – $86,658.48 annually
The Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship is accountable for integrated land and natural resource management including objective setting for land and marine environments, effectively managing cumulative effects, advancing reconciliation with Indigenous peoples, environmental sustainability and economic growth.

The Land and Resource Coordinator works in diverse teams, gathers and manages complex natural resource data, completes analysis and develops options, provides advice to statutory decision makers, facilitates and coordinates projects and engages directly with a wide variety of stakeholders to support land/resource management decisions.

Qualifications for this role include:
- A degree in a natural resource management related field PLUS, a minimum of one (1) year of related experience* working in a natural resource discipline. OR
- A Technical Diploma in a natural resource management related field PLUS, a minimum of two (2) years’ related experience* working in a natural resource discipline.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
*Related Experience must include:
- Experience managing multiple projects or leading a component of a project.
- Experience managing relationships with stakeholders and First Nation partners.
Preference may be given to applicants with experience in the following:
- Experience in natural resource project management and/or wildlife projects.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Individuals who hold a professional designation, such as a Registered Professional Biologist or Technician from the B.C. College of Applied Biology.
