Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home a few days a week subject to an approved telework agreement.
Fish and Wildlife Section Head Northeast Region
$91,061.34 – $103,987.29 annually, which includes a 3.3% Temporary Market Adjustment*
The Fish and Wildlife Section Head oversees the Northeast regional fish and wildlife program.
This role also manages staff and financial resources.

Qualifications for this role include:
Registered, or immediately eligible for registration, as a Registered Professional Biologist (RPBio) in BC with the College of Applied Biologists (CAB). Note: immediately eligible for registration is defined as being able to transfer a current membership from an applicable jurisdiction to the CAB within six (6) months of employment.
Degree in biological sciences or equivalent.
Experience interpreting and applying environmental management legislation and policy.
Experience leading staff on projects or program delivery.
Experience leading monitoring projects specific to fish and/or wildlife.
Preference may be given to applicants with the following:
Experience negotiating agreements with other levels of government or First Nations.
